COMPLETED PROJECTS

Colors are arranged according to their temperature when exposed to direct sunlight. When selecting a color, it's crucial to consider the heat output of the shingles. Cooler shingles emit less heat into a home, potentially lowering cooling costs during the summer months. While some believe darker shingles are better for winter, in Manitoba, roofs are often covered in snow for extended periods, sunlight exposure and significant heat gain is minimal. Additionally, cool roofs are known to have a longer lifespan compared to hot roofs, and warranties remain unchanged. (Organized from hottest to coldest, top to bottom)

We recommend checking multiple addresses with the same color and looking at different times of day as colors can change drastically based on: 1. Lighting 2.Accenting colours 3. Features you have (like stone or brick) 4. Pitch/angle of the roof.

If you proceed to book in your project with Raptor Roofing, we give you access to our colour map page. You can go view a digital map of the homes we've completed with that exact shingle colour your after. (Best to use a desktop computer)
